Slash -- Los Angeles, CA -- December 2nd, 2012
Very, very fun show. Slash and his band played for nearly two hours straight and had a real cool setlist that covered his whole career. Maybe I would have liked some more obscure Guns songs, but it's hard for me to complain with this long of a set. Myles sounded great, but the bassist Todd Kerns was amazing. My friend and I agreed that he blew Myles out of the water and that Welcome to te Jungle hadn't sounded this awesome in years. Seriously, Todd was just a totally badass singer, and You're Crazy was ridiculously cool with him singing it. Setlist is from setlist.fm, but it is for sure accurate. I gotta say though, Slash seemed like he was trying way to hard to shred during the jam and improv bits of the show. Improv soloing definitely isn't a strong suit of his if this show was any indication.
The only things that sucked about the show was a spazoid kid who kept flipping his hair in my face and acting like he was having a seizure and a cougar that tried to molest me (one grabbed me repeatedly and kept whispering in my ear "let's go crazy"- WHY ME?!) 1. Halo 2. Nightrain 3. Ghost 4. Standing in the Sun 5. Back From Cali 6. Been There Lately 7. My Michelle 8. Rocket Queen 9. One Last Thrill 10. Not for Me 11. Doctor Alibi (Todd Kerns on lead vocals) 12. You're Crazy (Todd Kerns on lead vocals) 13. No More Heroes 14. Starlight 15. Blues Jam 16. Anastasia 17. You're a Lie 18. Sweet Child O' Mine 19. Slither Encore: 20. Welcome to the Jungle (Todd Kerns on lead vocals) 21. Paradise City

!!! That reminds me of when a cougar got too grabby with me at a Iron Maiden and Sabbath tribute show.

Todd Kerns has a wicked voice. He used to sing in a really good Canadian band called the Age of Electric but they broke up years ago.
the Age of Electric - Untitled the Age of Electric - Remote Control
