Watched Waynes World 2 last night. Didn't realize that is the one I used to ALWAYS see on TV, so it was nice to finally watch the whole movie. It was actually really good.

Just finished watching the recent Pierce Brosnan adaptation of Stephen King's Bag of Bones.
Not bad, not great. Also watched The Invention of Lying last night, and War Horse the night before. Same conclusion.

After watching WALL-E for the millionth time with my two and a half year old today I asked him if he wanted to watch another movie with rocket ships and robots. So I sat him down and we watched the last forty five minutes of Return of the Jedi (the part of the original trilogy that has the most action going on, therefor has the best chance of keeping his attention). It seemed to have him really interested! Say what you want about that one being too cheesy and nothing but muppets but the Ewoks seemed to really get his attention. So if thats what i have to do to get my son to be a Star Wars fan so be it.
IT HAS BEGUN!

I moved back in to my parent's house last week and haven't had internet, so I've only had random DVDs to entertain me. So far I've watched Sherlock season 1, Ali G Indahouse, Star Wars Episode 4, Robot Chicken season 1, Adventureland, American Pie and am about to start Red State.

So after watching WALL-E again I look at my son and ask him what he'd like to watch next. He looks at me and says, "Star Wars"!?!? So I'm like, "shit son, okay". After it was over he looks at me and says "again". So we watched it again, and another time just before bed.
 He stayed in that position for an hour (we only watched the last forty minutes of Return of the Jedi). He likes the AT-ST's. He calls them giants. Whatever. Wait until he sees the AT-ATs in Empire Strikes Back.
