Nine Inch Nails -- Morrison, CO -- July 21st, 2014

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. Oneohtrix Point Never opened which I thought was awful. I'm not one for DJ sets and it sucks knowing that Dillinger is opening up a few shows down the line.

Both NIN and Soundgarden had standard sets but were great. NIN playing The Great Destroyer was cool since I hadn't seen it since the Lights in the Sky tour in 2008. Eraser sounds pretty cool live. However the combo of Only and Hand That Feeds I still find awful. I can't stand those two songs and there's so much more on With Teeth that should be getting played that he ignores.

Soundgarden's set was a lot better than the last time I saw them. I Awake was a surprise while Jesus Christ Pose just kills live. Ben introduced Chris as Chris "Legion of Boom" Cornell which drew a lot of boos but I found hilarious.

Nine Inch Nails:

Copy of A
Sanctified
Came Back Haunted
1,000,000
March of the Pigs
Piggy
Terrible Lie
Closer
Gave Up
Me, I'm Not
Find My Way
The Great Destroyer
Eraser
Wish
Only
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like a Hole

Hurt

Soundgarden:

Searching With My Good Eye Closed
Spoonman
I Awake
Let Me Drown
Rusty Cage
Black Hole Sun
Outshined
Jesus Christ Pose
Like Suicide
The Day I Tried to Live
My Wave
Fell on Black Days
A Thousand Days Before
Superunknown
Slaves & Bulldozers

This! Love, love love closing with Slaves though.

Question: are NIN opening or are they switching? I jsut assumed Sg was opening. Also any idea what shows Dillinger are opening on?

Oh my god, that's amazing. I'm surprised the Broncos fans in attendance didn't start throwing shit at them
