The Witcher 3 has been sucking up too much of my life. The MGS talk really makes me wish I could replay Snake Eater

Any Ratchet & Clank players here? I just got through the HD collection of the first three games and Tools Of Destruction. Is Size Matters, Quest For Booty, and Secret Agent Clank worth playing or should I just jump to Crack In Time?

Is anybody here looking forward to No Man's Sky? Everytime I see something on it it makes me want it more and more. Just wish they'd announce a release date.

It looks cool, but I have a very strong feeling that the novelty of the "huge galaxy" will wear off after a small while. It's possible for there to be TOO MUCH to do in video games, to the point that the game just gets tedious and not enjoyable.

Yea, but there's also a fear of it not going to have much to do. I kinda like the way you "play your own way", kinda like Minecraft in that sense. I plan on just exploring planet after planet, not gonna worry too much about trading and cataloging plant life. If this game lives up to what there saying about it, I think it has the potential to be one of my favorite games ever. Its definitely doing something no game has done before, you have to give them credit for that.

It doesn't help though that a lot of the IGN first stuff their doing on the game is not that good. They started off strong with an 18 minute play through, but since then its kinda gone down hill. Yesterday a developer did a short playthrough , and literally just snailed around the terrain and swam for the entire video. He didn't try to find any cool landmarks or anything. The freaking police force was shooting him for killing an innocent kangaroo-type creature and he didn't even notice it! I'm telling ya, the IGN team needs to get actual gamers playing these games!

I got my kids this game called Monster Jam: Battlegrounds (yes, monster trucks). It’s fucking brutal. It’s one of those budget games that you used to get for twenty dollars at Shoppers Drugmart (or for you ‘mericans; CVS). At least it only cost me fifteen dollars and since its download only it doesn’t take up any space in my house. But the graphics are choppy and brutal (for PS3), the music is dated (think 2003 Jeff Harvey music), the controls are terrible, the voice acting is used-car salesman, the difficulty is non-existent…the only benefit is that it was fifteen dollars and it has monster trucks, so my kids love it. But avoid it like you would the bubonic plague.
