Half of Halls of Valhalla is great, yeah. The other half is kind of dull, but I'd still take it in the live set over the singles.

And Rob's high-end is shot throughout. I'm glad he barely uses it. I can only imagine how horrible he'll sound live if he tries that stuff.

That would be so awesome if they played Halls of Valhalla. And yeah, I'm definitely in the camp that thinks that Richie came up with the best stuff on RoS.

I think I like Beginning of the End more than Never Forget, I'd really love for them to bust that one out like as the first song of the encore or something. Glenn's sweeping in the Never Forget is dumb and out of place IMO. All of his solos just suck on RoS I think.

Rob has a pattern when Priest go on tour. He starts off sounding really shitty, then after a few weeks he sounds excellent for a real good while, and then he gets exhausted from touring and his voice starts to slip. Take the Epitaph tour: he was rough on the first leg in Europe, but his voice really picked up after a couple weeks. Then he was on fucking fire in America, and when they returned to Europe his voice was starting to falter, even though it still sounded really good.

I have confidence in Rob sounding good on tour, his voice and stage presence has been getting better and better since '05. I personally think that it was more Glenn/Mike Exeter dropping the ball in getting the best performance from Rob in the studio rather than Rob being incapable of singing the parts better.
