Was it? I didn't expect it at all. The very first time I saw Breaking Bad was when Walt was down on the bathroom floor talking to Skylar, I thought that was the season finale so the whole time I watched this series I was under the impression his cancer got the best of him and he died that way, didn't expect him to go down the way he did.

Didn't know if it was worth a new thread, loved the first Saul episode. And hey, I didn't know Tuco was in this too!!! I can't wait for more Mike. He was one of my favorites. This also makes Jimmy come off as a very sympathetic figure. I felt more sorry for him than I think I ever did during all of BB. What did others think of it?

I thought it was an ok first episode. Might tune in for episode 2 tonight and see it clicks a little better now that I have a feel for it. Cool to see previous Break Bad characters in it

I have big hopes. I know it won't revolutionize anything like BB did. Saul was one of my favorite characters from the series. I think this will turn into a good series.

I'm certainly gonna follow, but I'm insanely behind with Gotham & The Blacklist.

I also wonder if he's strong enough as an actor to carry a whole series. And no, I don't believe Jesse & Walt won't wake an appearance.

Jean Grey & Cyclopse were ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! in XDOFP either...

So yeah...

It is indeed good. But... the "funny" moments he has, like in the first ep with all them lawyers in their meeting room, aren't actually funny. Done on purpose, I imagine.

Great opening in b&w too.

Best episode of Saul yet. Even if there was little Saul invloved. Mike is one of my favorite characters. Intense episode.

Yeah last night's episode was my favorite yet. The "I know it was you" part was fantastic.
