I just finished a run at Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

I still really enjoyed it but I found a few cracks that I didn't remember from the first time I played it. I didn't really like the second half of the game when you move on to the inverted castle. It seemed tacked on and like some sort of afterthought. Since I had all the really necessary items from the first castle it was pretty easy to navigate too. They should've divided up the items a bit more evenly. And it hurt my thumbs. The original castle was so awesome. They should've just made a few more areas.

The voice acting was horrid. And the story itself was pretty bad and hard to follow without the aid of the internet.

The whole game seemed like something made on a whim by some low budget studio with zero expectations and zero money. Yet it somehow paid off.

I still really enjoyed it and feel a little empty not having any more to go through. It was really rewarding exploring that castle. I don't miss the story or the characters. It's one of those games where the gameplay stands on its own and is the only reason to play it.

Am I a bad person for the fact that I've never played a Castlevania game?

NP: I think I fucked myself over in Dead Rising 2: OTR. I thought this mission OPENED at 7:00pm... turns out I was wrong, I fially get to the location..... and my time bar is blinking red, so I have only a few minutes to beat the boss (TK in the Helicopter....). I raged so much that I said F it and....

Started Walking Dead Season 2. Jeesh, so many feels in the first episode! Can't wait to see where it goes from here!

Nope, but it's like seven dollars on the PlayStation network.

I stood in EB Games (Canadas Gamestop, I think it's even owned by Gamestop) for two hours today as my son played Xbox One demos of Trials Fusion, Forza 5, Killer Instinct, the latest Lego: Marvel Superheroes and Lego: the Movie - the Game. Forza 5 and Killer Instinct sucked. Trials Fusion was a dirt bike game that looked cool but reeked of launch title. Lego: the Movie and the other one were exactly what you'd expect from a Lego game. They were all beautiful. But like someone else said, the jump from the last generation to this generation isn't as impressive (visually) as it was in past jumps.

The physics on the crashes on Trials were pretty funny. That game needs blood. And the sound was off but if it doesn't have them it NEEDS bone cracking sounds.
