Hm... I was at Municipal Waste and I don't remember hipsters, but....

I've seen a few acts there recently, Municipal Waste, Conjuring the Dark (Black Metal Festival of sorts), and Goatwhore

Really? Maybe I'm just being a dickhole, but I seem to remember kids wearing girl pants, button-up plaid shirts, and horn-rimmed glasses.

How was that Goatwhore show btw? I wanted to go but I got a case of the lazies.

I saw a fair amount of punks a the waste show, but I dunno about scene kids and hipsters.. I was up front and stoned so I could be wrong. haha

Goatwhore was good. Can't remember the setlist though, it's really bugging me cause its the only show that I've been to this year that I don't have a set for. Enfold Darkness played well, and there was a group from Fargo called Gorgatron that were fuckin bad ass.

Yeah, I remember a lot of punks, but that was to be expected, whatnot with the whole crossover business. That was great fuckin show, I can't wait till they come back...

I kinda regret not going to see Goatwhore again, just cause tickets were so cheap, and the Triple Rock is about a 3-4 minute walk from where I live now...

As a matter of fact, I am an expert on the subject. The main factor in measuring hipster activity is the Gleims, or "gs". The term was named after Edward Gleimstein, the first fossalogist, the study of hipsters. In order to find the gs of any region, one must simply find the ratio of hipsters:humans in any show environment. If you like, I could recommend a book or two on the subject.
