Napalm Death fans....
Do you like Fear, Emptiness, Despair?
It seems like the only person I can find that likes this album is Ian Christe where he name drops it as not only one of the great death metal albums, but one of the top 25 metal albums of all time. He also said the same thing about Morbid Angel's Formulas Fatal To The Flesh but I've managed to see that on one or two "top lists"/recommended albums by people I trust. But the band never seems to play anything from it live, I've never really heard fans talk about it or the songs; I'd just like to get some feedback whether it's actually liked or Ian's the only one who likes it.

http://mabb.us/forum/ A majority of the posters on this MA fan forum have Formulas as their favorite album. I love Formulas but I can't put it above the Vincent era classics. In fact I even have Gateways above it.
And yes I do like F,E,D.

I haven't really listened to it. There's like a 5 album streak around that time frame that I never really checked out. I've been meaning to since Jesse is one badass, but I keep forgetting. There's like a decade and a half of music they just don't play live. A shame I'll never hear anything from Halloween.

I listened to it once on the way to school and dug it, but haven't since.

Ocassionally I'll blast Curse The Flesh or Cleansed In Pestilence (Blade Of Elohim), those are great tracks.

Yes I do. Not as much as their output from 1999 to today. But of all their mid-nineties experimental output I probably like it best.

Heretic is a pretty solid album in my opinion. "Praise the Strength" is probably my favorite MA track of all time.

Can't go wrong with Napalm Death IMO.
