I was thinking the same thing about the heat too!
Last year's Mayhem in Mansfield - now that was HOT!

I posted it more in reference to the dude that got airlifted out as a result of a moshing injury anyway.

I love this sentence: "Many of the injuries apparently stemmed from mosh pit gyrations common at Vans Warp-type shows."

Jackson will have my back on this one. The Warped in KC in 2010 was the hottest thing I've ever been a part of. We actually had a death from the heat. The bands said it was the 2nd hottest date outside of Phoenix. 84? C'mon people.

Mayhem 2011 for me. 104 legit temp with a 113 heat index. Drank 2 gallons of water and pissed once.

I'd never been to an outside show where I couldn't touch the guardrail. It was even hot. I actually fell asleep sitting up in the shade waiting for bands. Also a first for me.

It's humid as shit where I live. I mow when it's hotter than 84.

That's how hot it was for the Mayhem with Slipknot and Slayer. So hot that chugging Gatorade, Monsters, and shit tons of water then sitting 30 feet from the stage where pyro is nonstop made me blackout a few times.
