The copy of the The Puppet Master that I got came with a DVD with King Diamond telling the story of the album. It's really creepy....

Yep, that's the version I have to. Haven't watched it since I bought the album back when it came out. I might have to watch that again.

The Puppet Master was a good comeback album but a serious downer. Very well written though.
His set mainly is from the first four albums. I would say his first four albums were certainly the high point of his solo career when you're taking about great albums he released consecutively. I still say The Puppet Master is a another career high point for him. What do you mean the album was a downer? Since when does King go for the happy ending?

Credit also needs to go to crafting concept records. I feel like it must affect the music and how he might try and make it go with the story, therefore kind of boxing himself in.
That being said, King Diamond is the one artist got me hooked hard on heavymetal and I would never miss this tour.
Last time he came over in MTL he cancelled and as a young teen I was incredibly bummed out. It was with Kreator too at the good old Medley.

I have to join in just to say that The Puppet Master is my favorite KD album. I wish a song from it would hit the set on this tour, but I won't hold out hope. I'd go to a KD concert just to finally hear "Welcome Home" live anyways...

The set lists they were playing at the Euro tests covered a lot of ground. I think almost every album is represented.
