Because they are legit. They have a full length album out. If they're not legit because they have a "gimmick" or whatever, Gwar isn't a real band either.

Exactly. I didn't mean to offend any Gwar fans but all I'm saying is that just because a band has a gimmick doesn't mean they aren't legit.

Seems to me that Dethklok is just taking a page from Gorillaz. I don't see anything wrong with it. The creator of the show is a huge metal fan and has been playing instruments for years, so it's ok for me. I can't say I'm a fan of the show and it's tough to think that it's from the same creator as "Home Movies". The album music isn't bad, does anyone know who is playing the shows?
